For an event photographer, a Biffy show is a masterclass in controlled chaos. From the relentless, sweaty energy of Simon Neil to the dramatic stage lighting and that massive confetti drop, you have to be ready for anything in the photo pit.

I chose to process these entirely in black and white to emphasize the grit of the performance. Stripping away the color forces you to focus on the heavy contrast, the intricate tattoos, and the sheer passion pouring out on stage.
