I have created this work partially for ease of use by De Paul, I don’t think it is fair to ask an organisation to repeatedly waste money on branding that could be, and needs to be used to develop the services they provide. I aspire to create a collection of work that shows the brighter side of what De Paul is and what they do.
I have created this work for branding and marketing purposes for De Paul, my work should allow them to create new larger texts for advertising and to elevate the De Paul brand to allow them to do more fundraising and bring in more volunteers. I hope to show De Paul’s services in the best light through my work, making their services look warm and inviting.
I believe there are plenty of other artistic projects and image collections which are similar to what I have created, however my work focuses almost entirely on the buildings, and the facilities in the services rather than individuals or zoning in on a charity or organisation.
My philosophy of making my work is quite simple, show the world through a different viewpoint, in general terms I would be creating art through my own viewpoint, however for a project like this with a specific purpose, I am creating work through the idealised lens of De Paul to portray them in a certain way to the world.
This work fits its purpose by appearing warm and welcoming and providing De Paul with freely usable photos for their brands purposes.
